Well Bud has lived in Flint all his life and when Amoes took him in to live with them for a little bit. But the next morning Bud wakes up to Todd a 12 year old boy shoving a pencil up his nose and he slaps him across the face .Todd starts kicking and punching Bud and Todd's mom comes in and sees .Todd on the floor crying and she asks what happened and Todd lies and Bud gets put out in the shed . Bud chops a hornet's nest in half with his knife and he jumps out the window and he gets in side and dumps water on Todd .Todd pees the bed and Bud leaves and heads to the library to see if he can sleep in it but it's locked. Bud jumps with some people who pretend to be his parents so Bud can have food . Bud goes to the library to ask for miss Hill but she isn't there shes in Chaigo she he wants to walk there by foot or hoping trains and then he runs into Bugs and they are going to hope trains to get there . They get on the first one but not second one for Bud . So Bud gets on a train back to Flint and he chooses to walk to Grand Rapids and on the to Grand Rapids a car pules over and Bud gets in the car and they head in to Grand Rapids and they head towards some aparments and Bud meats his dad.
